About Clayton Art Alliance

Clayton Art Alliance is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to not only enjoy the fellowship and projects of our artist community, but to promote art within the community. We are the oldest art club in the southern crescent having been in existence for over 40 years. The Clayton Art Alliance was established by a group of local artists seeking friendship, fellowship and a place to show their art work and talents.  In 2012, we made the decision to go public and to help fill the gap left in the art community with budget cuts and an economy too weak to support the arts.

This year we are bringing to the public, with the help of the Clayton County Library, a series of eleven workshops and demonstrations and two art shows. These are free to the public and we encourage all to join the fun! Our meetings take place at the Clayton County Library Headquarters Branch at 865 Battle Creek Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30236.  You may call 770-473-3850 or follow this link  to Clayton County Headquarters Library  and click on locations.

You are invited to join in the workshops with a $5.00 donation to cover the costs of supplies, or you can become a member of the Clayton Art Alliance  for $25.00 and enjoy all the benefits of membership! There is no charge to come and watch and learn. Either way, we welcome you and encourage you to learn more about the arts through the meetings and the library!
